The University of Pennsylvania awards degrees three times a year in May, August and December. Students must submit a degree application to initiate the processing of the degree. The degree application allows students to share important information with the university, such as the preferred presentation of the name on the degree and launch program, the address of delivery of the degree and officially initiates the final examination of academic progress towards graduation. Your graduation semester is the term in which you meet your graduation requirements, which may differ from the term you attend the graduation ceremony. How do these degree requirements differ from those currently in place? Currently, students only need to pass the course requirements established in their high school. Starting with the class of 2022, students will also be required to complete the ICAP planning process and demonstrate their math and English skills. While all students are expected to meet regularly with their academic advisor when enrolling, it is common and appropriate for this process to involve a conversation between the student and their academic advisor about issues such as outstanding degree requirements, incomplete grades, or the decision to drop out of a minor, additional major, or field of study. Note: All students are advised to regularly monitor their progress in meeting the degree requirements via Path@Penn. Will credits earned before high school count towards the new graduation requirements? Yes. IKF Board policy allows students to earn course credits for LPS graduation requirements before entering high school beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. The following courses can be credited as credit courses before the Abitur: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and World Languages. Credits earned upon successful completion of one or more of these courses will be reflected on the high school student`s report card. Course completion does not count towards a student`s high school grade point average (GPA) in EPL. With the support and guidance of their school counselor, teachers and parents, students in grades six to 12 are working toward specific goals and milestones. Each high school provides information about the requirements of its graduation courses in its course guide (you can find each course guide on the school`s websites). Students must upload proof of their “first choice/preferred” post-secondary commitment to Naviance prior to graduation.

School trustees will review and confirm the evidence in Naviance. How do students know what to do? Each high school offers a detailed course guide and planning tools that clearly outline expectations and guide students and families through the steps leading up to graduation. LPS master`s degree applicants who wish to apply for the degree must submit two applications: Colorado law requires local school districts to accept graduation expectations that meet or exceed the guidelines of state graduates. These new expectations apply to the class of 2022 and beyond. The Littleton Public Schools Board of Education has adopted new graduation requirements in accordance with Colorado law. Starting with the class of 2022, Colorado graduates must successfully complete their high school graduation course requirements, successfully complete the Individual Career and Study Plan (ICAP) process, and demonstrate proficiency in English and math.
