I`m also fed up with mbd`s lawyers who have been harassing me for over six months about a Heritage Collections account that was paid for at least four years ago. I got another call tonight and I really lost it I keep asking for information about what and when to buy, since the last time, four years ago, her advisor told me to pay I`m afraid I told her where to go and hung her up, I never received any correspondence from Heritage Collection, just rude calls from mbd. Isn`t there something legal we can do to stop them? I`m tired of MBD Attorneys. Literally on the verge of suicide. I cancelled my Virgin Active account in 2002 for a variety of reasons. I did not receive any confirmation from them, although I constantly sent letters and emails reminding them of my cancellation of membership. (of which I have records). I heard nothing from Virgin Active until 2005, when they confirmed that my membership had been terminated at the beginning of 2003 and that somehow recognition and validation on their part had been lost in the system. Nevertheless, although difficult to understand, I am a human being and I am aware that mistakes and mistakes occur among underqualified people in crucial and critical positions and paperwork can be lost FOR 3 YEARS CONTINUOUSLY!!!! However, my complaint is not directed at Virgin Active, but at MBD Attorneys. I receive threatening text messages. I am contacted daily by Samantha or Gavin or Renchia (the list is endless) and every day I explain the same story over and over again and ask her for her fax number so I can send her all the documents confirming my cancellation and the next day they contact me again and the story starts again.
Today, in an attempt to send them the 32 pages of correspondence I`ve accumulated over the past 7 years (not to mention the ones lost during the move), they`ve kept stopping the fax machine so I can`t send my faxes, but that`s what they ask every time they call me. “Mom, can you please send me dat infawmation frew so I can remove your case, because we weren`t the last.” I lost it today. I blew off my top. I started faxing them around 11:00 this morning, it`s almost midnight and I`m still faxing them and all the fax numbers I can find for them. I will constantly harass them, just as they have harassed me on a daily basis for the past few years. I won`t stop until they stop. I will consume all the paper and ink in their fax machine. I`m going to keep their lines busy and I`m going to make them panic until they leave me alone, and if that doesn`t work, I`m going to take legal action against them for harassment. I had it with them and their constant whining and wasting of time. In my profession, as in theirs, I also bill by the hour and for each session they employ me, I will invoice them and I will use my debt collectors to recover the money from them. even if I have to choose to do it in an “unethical” way.
If anyone can help me with the fax numbers of MBD lawyers that you may have on file, please send them to me so that I can successfully pursue my mission and hopefully keep them away from other victims of their abuse and harassment. We strive to provide superior legal services to our clients and their clients at all times, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, governance and ethics. Shortly after receiving a threatening text message telling me I had to call the lawyers to avoid “legal action” on a standard bank account I don`t even have, I went on the offensive. I posted a long letter on Facebook, tweeted, and went to HelloPeter.com. NB: READ THIS! Day together! I`ve read all the comments and I`m so sad that everyone has to go through this. The best advice I can give is to make sure you know your rights. If you`ve had some type of debt with a business, make sure you know when that debt is mandatory. As a rule, if no action is taken by the company due, the debt will be lost after 3 years and nothing more can be done. There are exceptions (such as court orders and TV licenses), but normal debts such as loans or loan agreements or gym memberships or arrears, etc. expire after exactly 3 years. It`s called prescription and you can look at it – there`s a statute of limitations.
Don`t be intimidated or intimidated by these horrible people. It doesn`t matter if they bought the debt (meaning they were allocated to them). If it was more than 3 years ago, they do not have the right to claim it. They know that, which is why they try to make people pay. Other advice I can give: 1. If the blame is prescribed, tell them it was prescribed. When they argue, they have to prove that this is not the case. Emphasize the evidence; 2. Reverse roles in every possible way – ask for evidence of everything. If they call again without sending it, ask again and explain that you won`t do anything until you receive it. 3. ALWAYS insist on a DETAILED EXPLANATION (which means that each fee will be taken into account); 4.
If possible, refuse to manipulate MBD and contact the original service provider directly. 5.
