Legal Seafoods Downtown Boston

We are now open for al fresco dining in downtown Crossing weather permitting. Legal Sea Foods began in 1950 as a fish market in the Inman Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Here, the name “Legal” has become synonymous with quality and freshness. In 1968, our first fish restaurant opened, right next to the fish market. The fish was simply prepared, fried or fried, and served on paper plates at shared picnic tables. Despite the restricted traps, the food was second to none, and the news spread quickly. This early success led to further expansion and now, six decades later, with East Coast restaurants, the commitment to freshness and quality remains: “If it`s not fresh, it`s not legal!” Inspired by the urban environment of its neighborhood, Legal Sea Foods Downtown Crossing is sleek, dark and modern with shiny black bricks paired with shiny amber glass. Our living room occupied half of the restaurant, while our dining room overlooks the open kitchen. During the warmer months, we open our terrace along Avenue de Lafayette. Our validation will bring you savings at the Lafayette garage across the street at 1 Avenue de Lafayette.
