In jurisdictions where a significant number of eligible clients speak a language other than English as their primary language, the Company will ensure, to the extent possible, that its primary language is used to provide legal assistance to such clients under this Title. Before using such alternatives, the program assesses their likely effectiveness for individual clients and the low-income population and conducts such assessments on an ongoing basis. 2. (6) Ensure that all lawyers involved in legal aid activities supported in whole or in part by the Company refrain from doing so, while engaged, by: (f) At least thirty days before the approval of a grant application or before entering into a contract or before initiating any other project, the Company will publicly announce, and inform the Governor, the State Bar Association of a state and the principal bar associations (if any) of a community in which legal assistance is so initiated, of such grant, contract or project.
